A Wedgwood blue and white Jasperware mid century jug. It is decorated in classical style with Grecian figures and it has a repeating freeze around the upper and lower body. Matt ground and gloss glazed interior so it can be used to hold water and be used as a vase. Impressed marks to the underside and dated to 1967.
Good order with minor wear. No obvious losses to the appliqué. Some white showing through the rim glaze probably from production. Overall a good example.
