A Rene Lalique Art Deco period opalescent glass bowl in the Bulbes pattern. The oplascent glass looks blue under normal light but turns a fiery opal in strong backlight. The bowl dates around 1930 and is a classic pattern which is very organic in form whilst retaining the Art Deco style - the glass almost appears to be melting like ice. It has the R Lalique France stencilled acid mark to the center of the bowl.
Some light scratches inside through use, but nothing significant. A lovely example.
