A late 19th century William De Morgan Arts & Crafts tile. It features blue flowers with green scrolling leaves and a small flower head in the top right corner. The pattern seems to be a slight variant of the carnation pattern with the petals spread a little father apart, the colours though are the same. The reverse is encrusted with cement so no mark is visible, however at time of writing this I have another example the same but with the mark showing.
All over crazing and some spots of minor discolouration below the glaze. Light tiny speckles through the glaze, almost like a glitter (although not metallic). Minor glaze losses around the edege. Cement encrustation to reverse - see images.
