An early 20th century Wedgwood blue jasper ware biscuit jar probably dating to the inter-war period. It is an all jasper example rather than the more often found examples with metal mounts.
The body is decorated with classical figures and trees running around the exterior. The lid is also in the blue jasper ware and has an acorn knop with radiating oak leaves.
To the underside of the body is the Wedgwood impressed marks.
The lid has some marks and slight discolouration, it is also slightly lighter than the main body. Minor marks and wear around the body. Minor production flaws typical for the period. Generally good as can bee seen in the images
